Frequently Asked Questions

FAQ's answered

Can you really do a dustless repair?

Yes. Drywall work creates dust, but we control it. We protect the space, use dust extraction while sanding, and keep the mess contained so your home doesn’t feel like a jobsite afterward.

Does all this cost extra?

No. Clean work is part of the job. Our process is designed to be efficient, so dust control and cleanup are built into the way we work.

I've already fixed the crack before, and it keeps coming back. why?

Most recurring cracks come back because the repair addressed the symptom, not the cause. Movement, weak seams, or a failed prior repair can all lead to repeat cracking. We repair based on the situation so the fix holds up long-term.

I want to paint it. What should i do?

Repaired areas are more porous than the surrounding wall, so they should be primed before paint. Use a proper drywall primer, then apply matching paint and sheen. If you want, we can tell you exactly what to buy after we see the wall.

I don't want to paint it. Can you?

Yes. We offer Patch & Match Painting where it makes sense - prime, color match, and blend the repair so it doesn’t stand out. When a perfect blend isn’t realistic (sun fade, heavy wear), we’ll tell you up front and recommend the cleanest option.

Is the Paint match perfect?

Sometimes yes, often very close - paint color and sheen can vary with age, lighting, and wear. Our process is designed to get a strong blend in most homes. If you need a guaranteed uniform finish, the most reliable method is painting the full wall/ceiling section.
